Minelab is pleased to announce the introduction of the latest addition to their product line . . . .
The GOLD MONSTER 1000!
Under development for more some time in the gold fields worldwide, the GOLD MONSTER 1000 incorporates state-of-the-art technology into a lightweight package that turns beginners into experts with its fully automatic ground tracking operation and high performance operation . . . and most importantly, does so without streching the family budget!
This is a gold detector like no other. It is fully automatic in terms of adjusting for even extreme ground conditions and makes hunting in areas where many gold detectors stay away from due to iron trash present. With the touch of a button you can toggle between a true all metal mode and what Minelab has called the FE-Reject mode which allows iron trash to be identified (and rejected) with a high degree of accuracy.
Incorporating a new circuit design that maximizes sensitivity to a wide range of target sizes, the Gold Monster 1000 operates at 45 khz. However, unlike other single frequency detectors, the Gold Monster 1000 actually is highly sensitive to a wide range of targets from sub-grain nuggets to larger specimens. No longer do you have to pick what size target you are looking for and sacrifice sensitivity to other sizes . . . the Gold Monster 1000 will hit them all. The figure below shows how the Gold Monster 1000 compares to other single frequency detectors in terms of sensitivity to certain size targets . . . it hits them all!
Other controls are Sensitivity (Manual or Auto) and Volume . . .and that’s it! Simplicity meets performance in the new Minelab Gold Monster 1000!
The shaft design is unique in that it breaks down into three sections allowing you to put the entire detector in a small backpack to get to those remote and productive sites. A unique clevis piece that allows you to use an alternative shaft if desired (or even a branch if your shaft breaks in the back country), you will not have any downtime.
The Gold Monster 1000 comes with two search coils . . . . a 10”x6” elliptical Double-D and a smaller 5” round Double-D for tight spaces.
Powered by a rechargeable battery pack, the Gold Monster 1000 comes with a wall charger as well as a clip that can be attached to a battery for charging in the field . . . another Minelab first.
OK, so what is the price on this new Minelab detector?
Hopefully you are sitting down because the entire package with the two coils, innovative charging system and pocket guide sells for . . . .
$799 shipped (in the U.S.)
The Gold Monster 1000 will be in high demand worldwide and each region will receive equal shipments which means backorders for those that want to get out with it first will exist. Minelab is expecting to have them shipping by April 2017.
